The homemade breakfast items were a delightful touch.
Despite the comfortable bed and charming rooms, parking became a real hassle during our stay. With only three spots available, we often struggled to find a place, especially when the B&B was full. the lack of frequent bus service made it challenging to explore the area without driving.

Comfortable bed with a good supply of tea and coffee. A lounge stacked with DVDs and local leaflets for adventurers. Breakfast views spread across the countryside add a nice touch to the morning meal experience.
Parking might become a challenge if all rooms are filled since some guests would need to find space in a nearby car park. Road noise can be disruptive, especially for rooms facing the street, which might affect light sleepers. The bus service doesn't run frequently, limiting options for getting into town.

Couples looking for a cozy retreat
Alison and I felt right at home, Dee and Phil really welcomed us, like old friends. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the way they catered to our preferences, making it feel personal and truly special.
It was a bit pricey, but you know, it’s acceptable for such quality.

Loved the cozy atmosphere at Rowan Tree House. The room had a spacious layout with attractive decor and comfy bedding, making it feel welcoming right from the start. Breakfast blew me away! An excellent range of options including fresh fruits, cereals, and a traditional English fry-up. Dee and Phil were perfect hosts, genuinely warm and helpful, providing lots of local tips. The only downside was parking. it might be tricky if all rooms are booked since only three spots are available. the experience felt personal and special, perfect for a getaway. I will definitely come back!

We had an awesome time at the B&B with my friends. The breakfasts were a real highlight, featuring plenty of tasty options. After exploring Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, we loved hanging out in the cozy lounge with our drinks. Dee and Phil were super accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a fun weekend.
Just a heads up, the parking can get tricky if the place is full, as we found out during our stay.
